“Nope, not interested in that drama. XD”

Were you? Seriously not interested in relationships? Or maybe not.

People choose to stay single, for a lot of practical factors like focusing on career, building themselves, giving more time to their goals, spending more time with themselves, their friends and family, some even refrain from going into a relationship because they feel they aren’t ready for a commitment.

But what of those who don’t have these reasons?

They fear.

Fear being used by anyone they choose to be vulnerable around.Fear that what they might be saying as a rare confession of feelings might just be a joke for the other person.

Fear that all the efforts they make for someone might just be entertainment for the other person.

Fear that they might get dependent on someone who ultimately leaves them and then they loose both individual strength and the person they chose to surrender to.

Fear that they someone may find the fragile heart under the hard carapace and then might just use it as a toy.

Fear that one wrong decision and you get attached to the worst person you can.

If I be honest there are hundred’s of ‘green flags’ around you, who are just too scared to ever think of relationships for these reasons.

It’s not the heart, but the ‘hurt’ that stops us.
