Love is not jealous.
Human love - the love one human feels towards another - comes from humans, and humans are insecure. They are fearful. They worry they can be replaced. That someone else might be better than they are.
That’s what jealousy is. The feeling that comes from that fear - not from the love.
Fear can (and does) spill into love and pollute it.
This is why we need to love ourselves, and work on ourselves and the things we carry. So we can keep our love as clean as we can.
Love is not a battlefield. It’s us. We need to stop blaming it for our own shortcomings.
